Description | Primary Purpose:
This position’s primary role will be to support non-academic data analysis of systems toward high-impact strategies that drive school safety, mental health, physical health, and supportive discipline work with ESCs that are a part of Stronger Connections Grant. The position will also support content work with the Texas Center for Student Support.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Master’s degree required
- Teaching certification and experience required
- Mid-Management certification preferred
- Campus administrator experience preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Experience teaching for at least 2 years required
- Experience in creating plans, schedules, and data tracking tools required
- Possesses the ability to make presentations to groups of school personnel and/or parents and community members
- Demonstrates educational technology skills, planning and organizational abilities, and effective written and oral communication proficiency
- Exhibits the ability to be a team member and is service-oriented
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills and is self-motivated with a high degree of personal responsibility to meet program requirements
- Exemplary communication skills and organizational skills required
Working Conditions:
- Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
- Posture: Must be physically able to tolerate prolonged sitting, frequent standing; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and standing
- Motion: Must be physically able to tolerate frequent standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching, occasional driving
- Lifting: Must be physically able to tolerate regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); may require occasional heavy lifting and carrying (45 pounds or more)
- Environment: Must be physically able to work inside; tolerate frequent districtwide travel and occasional statewide travel; regular exposure to noise
- Mental Demands: Must be able to work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; work prolonged or irregular hours on occasion

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides data performance management for ESC lead progress towards key data milestones and facilitates discussions to proactively mitigate risks and possible barriers
- Conducts state, ESC, and district diagnostic data evidence-gathering processes and analysis for non-academic supports
- Creates data visuals and storytelling outputs that support ESC leads to understand strengths, opportunities for growth, and inform decision-making
- Prepares and facilitates ESC leads in diagnostic and strategic data processes aligned to the Student Support Framework.
- Provides statewide professional development, support, and one-on-one coaching in monitoring and data collection to evaluate the progress of the SSF.
- Serves as content expert at the Texas Student Support Center and helps with technical assistance for ESCs and LEAs.
- Communicates and works with partners, vendors, and stakeholders for TSSC
- Utilizes various methods to deliver professional development and technical assistance opportunities for LEAs and ESCs across the state.
- Collaborates with numerous teams across the state in planning and delivering services, i.e., access to the general curriculum.
- Supports LEAs and ESCs in issues related to TCSS work and vision.
- Serve as the lead of a statewide convening of all SCG (Stronger Connection Grantees) awardees in June 2025 and June 2026.
- Serves as the lead for a statewide student task force.
- Responsible for vendor fair, vendor vetting, and keeping vendor website up-to-date.
- Work closely with digital marketing/graphic designer on content for the website.
- Manage digital lockers on the website for ESC and SCG LEAs.
- Conduct with TCSS Learning Leaders PLC for ESC leads and SCG LEAs across the state
- Help with content editing as needed.
- Serve as co-lead on sustainability and long-range planning.
- Follow federal and state guidelines. Provides support to LEAs and ESCs as needed.
- Out-of-Region travel will be necessary as a part of job responsibilities.
- Maintains a functioning cell phone and is accessible through this phone as deemed appropriate by the service area director. A functioning cell phone means that it is charged, activated, messages checked, and mailbox emptied regularly.
- Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities.
- Performs duties that directly and/or indirectly impact student performance in Region 16.
- Maintains a professional level of confidentiality regarding all ESC matters.
- Supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the ESC strategic plan.
- Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC safety program.
- Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies, processes, and procedures.
- Manages time, calendar, and job responsibilities to meet deadlines.
- Meets proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor.
- Incorporates appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth in technologies as outlined by supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
